After several years of technical precipitation, the Mars series of light-curing 3D printers has been updated and iterated closely following the Saturn series with the efforts of our ELEGOO R&D team. Friends who enter our website may be curious: they are all the same series, and there is not much difference in price and appearance. How can I understand the differences at a glance and help me decide to buy the model that suits me faster?
Let’s compare the latest pre-sale machines Mars 4 Max and Mars 4 DLP released on our ELEGOO official website so far with the previous machine Mars 3 Pro, and list the main differences for reference!
Comparison of Specifications:
Compare Mars 4 Max and Mars 3 Pro individually:
The light source design of Mars 4 Max utilizes the refraction of COB+ light, and improves the uniformity of light by changing the angle of light; and while upgrading the printing volume, the printing fineness and printing speed are also simultaneously improved.
It is worth mentioning that both Mars 4 DLP and Mars 4 Max are equipped with Voxeldance Tango slicing software. It offers three printing modes: static mode and dynamic mode (including smooth mode and high-speed mode). In dynamic mode, when the cross-section of the printed model is small, the print lifting speed is faster, thereby increasing the printing efficiency; conversely, the printing speed will slow down. Besides, ELEGOO has self-developed a new open-source GOO slice format, which is compatible with third-party slice software, such as CHITUBOX and Lychee Slicer.
